Empowerment Program Benefits Over 500 Constituents in Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency
Hon. Abubakar Baba Zango, the representative of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency, has successfully implemented an empowerment program that trained over 500 men and women in various skills, including animal rearing and modern farming techniques.

The program, which is part of Hon. Zango’s efforts to promote self-sufficiency and economic growth in his constituency, equipped participants with the knowledge and resources needed to start their own ventures.
Each participant received a certificate, a financial grant of ₦65,000, and essential farming tools, including generators, fertilizers, and spray pumps.
Additionally, Hon. Zango donated 500 bags of fertilizer, 500 water pumps, and 500 chemicals to the beneficiaries across the three local governments of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei. He also provided a cash sum of ₦60,000 to each beneficiary.
This initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity, promote economic growth, and create a more prosperous and sustainable future for the people of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei.
