The Speaker Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (DCN) Peter Abel Diah, and the entire Honourable Members heartily congratulate His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, and His Excellency the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Arch. Darius Dickson Ishaku, FNIA, on the occasion of Nigeria’s 59th Independence Anniversary.
While congratulating Nigerians and people of the State, the Speaker affirmed that It is imperative for us all to recognize our roles as leaders, citizens and stakeholders in realizing the vision of our heroes past of a peaceful, united and prosperous Nigeria.
As we celebrate our 59th Independence Anniversary, the Speaker noted that the selfless sacrifices of our heroes past borne out of their unequalled patriotism earned us the independence we enjoy today. He
called on Nigerians and the good people of Taraba State to sustain their faith in the country.
The Taraba Speaker urged all Nigerians to continue to pray for a united and indivisible Nigeria and work relentlessly towards a Nigeria we can be proud of.
