The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on being honored as Africa Man of the Year by Women in Africa for Transformation Initiative.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard, the Speaker described the award as well-deserved, noting that it aligns with Governor Fintiri’s priority on promoting gender equality. He highlighted the Governor’s efforts in giving women a sense of belonging and inclusion in governance, citing the significant strides made in women empowerment across the state over the past five years.
Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley praised Governor Fintiri’s performance, stating that it is a testament to his commitment to the people of Adamawa State.
