Granting the financial autonomy of States Assembly, Judiciary by President Muhammadu Buhari, a Lawmaker representing Vere Constituency in the Adamawa state House of Assembly Hon Abdullahi Umaru Yapak praised the effort made by the president for the bill to be accented.
According to Yapak the granting of the financial autonomy of the Assembly will fastract legislature duties where they will no longer depend on the executive to approve any financial memos that requires urgent legislative attention.
”Signing of the bill will enhance our legislative performance, as we no longer wait for executive to approve any thing that has to do with finances,we are now financial independent to do all that is needful according to the provision of the law.
“It’s a welcome development, it’s a welcome idea at the right direction and Adamawa Assembly commend President Muhammadu Buhari for accenting the bill.” Yapak said
Yapak is the chairman House committee on education is infantic that the bill will better cement a good relationship between the lawmakers and the executives.
