State Budget transparency: Adamawa ranked 3rd, and scored above average

The report of the Nigerian States Budget Transparency Survey of 2022 has shown that Adamawa state has ranked third in the transparency scale.

Dr. Mary Paninga, Executive Chairman, of Adamawa State Planning Commission confirmed this in a statement made available to this medium and revealed that the state under the leadership of Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Governor scored sixty-three.

While expressing her delight at the success she said Fintiri is one of the most transparent governors in the country that is hard working in saving the state out of the woods of poverty and scored above the average of forty-three.

“Adamawa State was ranked 3rd in the country with a score of 63.Congratulations and well done Adamawa State

“Thanks to Adamawa State, our amiable Governor, and the Planning Commission & budget.” She said

The State to-State transparency of 2022 has revealed that Jigawa State is topmost with a total score of eighty-four followed by Kano with a distance score of 63 and Adamawa closely follows with 60 scores
