State House of Assembly autonomy: ADHA inaugurate technical committee

A bill signed into Law by President Muhammadu Buhari on Financial autonomy for States House of Assembly and Judiciary arm of Government, the Adamawa state House of Assembly (ADHA) have inaugurated a technical committee that will Work out modalities for its take off.

The essence of the committee is to make sure that the state’s legislature are effective and fully autonomous as a second arm of government in its operation.

The Members of the commitee which is made of 8 Legislator and has Hon Lumsambani Mijah Dilli (Demsa) as the Chairman.

While Hon Abubakar Isah (Shelleng),
Hon Joseph Ayuba Kwada (Michika),
Hon Abdullahi Umaru Yapak (Verre),
Hon Abubakar Mohammed Maikanti (Fofure) will serve as members of the committee.

Other members are Hon Abdulrahaman Abubakar (Mubi South), Hon Hassan Mamman Barguma (Hong), Hon Hammanjoda Umar Farang (Ganye).

The Clerk and Deputy Cleark of the House also formed part of the commute.

The chairman of the committee,Dilli, revealed that ADHA is the First to inaugurate its technical committee to sit with the executive to agree on how to bring out the modalities.
