The Chairman Adamawa State Wing of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT),Comrade Rodney S Nathan revealed that the performances of primary schools pupils in the state have significantly improve.
According to him the improvement is owing to the fact that the adminstration of Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, the Excutive Governor of the State has being making sure the salaries of Primary school teachers are promptly paid as at when due.
Nathan also revealed that despite scourge of Insurgency and attacks of aimed men talents of football players and academic ingenuity are discovered in most of the primary schools across the 21 LGAs of the State.
He appreciates Governor Bindow for given his attention to education and asked that the tempo should be increased in order to have a well educated society.
Lamented that the recent attacks in part of Mayo Belwa,Girei,Demsa,Numan and Lamurde have displaced Women and children of school age affecting their school activities as it is thirds term and exam period for promotion.
He call on the government to as a matter of urgency do the needful by providing other means for all school age IDPs are provided with what the need to have their exams,bringing an end to herders and farmers clashes bedeviling the State.
“No body is Happy with what is happening in the State, I’m calling on everyone, all spirit individuals,Government at all levels,NGOs and crusaders of Peace to delve into the situation for lasting solution that will translate to peaceful coexistence.” Rodney Said
He enjoins security agencies in the state to stampede any form of attacks and to make sure that law and order in every part of the State is maintain.
