The Executive Governor of Adamawa State,Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has congratulated his counterpart,the Executive Governor of Taraba State,His Excellency Arch Ishaku Darius over the victory at the supreme court Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement signed by Humwashi Wonosikou,his Press Secretary,Ahmadu said Darius Ishaku deserved the victory given his widespread acceptance across the state.
He said the Wednesday’s judgement of the Supreme Court affirming his electoral victory has further demonstrated that his election was indeed a true reflection of the wishes of the people of Taraba state.
Fintiri advised Governor Darius to extend a hand of fellowship to the opposition in Taraba state and dedicate himself to re-uniting the people and be the Governor to all. He said “the path is now clear for focused piloting of the State’s affairs towards lifting Taraba higher in his last term as Governor, etching His name in gold as one who changed the negative narrative of Taraba”
