One of the Supreme court Justices, Chukwudumebi Samuel Oseji, has died at the age of 67.
The apex court judge died in a private hospital in Abuja on Tuesday during a brief illness.
Justice Oseji was appointed a judge of the High Court of Justice, Delta State before being promoted to Court of Appeal in 2010.
The late judge had served in Enugu, Benin and Lagos before being elevated to the nation’s apex court.
The deceased was born on June 2, 1954, in Aniocha North Local Government area of Delta State. He attended Saint Patrick’s College, Asaba, Delta State.
He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1984 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1985.
