A tragic incident has unfolded in Ogun State, Nigeria, where a 16-year-old boy, Lawal Wahab, was found dead with vital organs removed. The Ogun State Police Command has launched an intensive investigation into the brutal killing, and two suspects, Salaeu Omikansola and Serefusi Agemo, have been arrested in connection with the murder.

The deceased’s body was discovered along the Old Express Road in Igbile-Ijebu on July 23, 2025, with the head, both wrists, heart, and genitals gruesomely removed, indicating a likely ritual killing. One of the suspects reportedly gave a voluntary confession, which has been documented and recorded on video.

The police public relations officer, Omolola Odutola, stated that the case file, alongside exhibits, is being prepared for immediate transfer to the State Criminal Investigation Department Eleweran for further discreet investigation. Efforts are ongoing to arrest other fleeing accomplices.
The Command has urged residents of the state to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station for action. The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of residents in the state, and the police are working to ensure that those responsible for the crime are brought to justice.
