The Adamawa State Police Command has struck a significant blow against crime with the arrest of two armed robbery suspects and the recovery of a stolen vehicle in Yola, showcasing its relentless commitment to public safety.
The operation, announced in a press release on June 21, 2025, follows a swift response by police operatives to credible intelligence.
Acting on a tip-off, officers from the Yolde Pate Divisional Police Headquarters, under the leadership of SP Abdullahi Abubakar, tracked down suspects who had robbed Sadisu Umar Sani of his black 2015 Honda Accord in Sabon Gari, Jalingo, Taraba State.

The perpetrators, identified as Emmanuel Sale, 28, and Jibrilla Hassan, 36, both residents of Sabon Gari, Jalingo, were apprehended in Yola, where they had fled with the stolen vehicle. The car was successfully recovered by the police team.
Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, psc(+), praised the operatives for their prompt and decisive action, emphasizing the command’s zero-tolerance stance on crime. He directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yola for a thorough investigation in collaboration with the Taraba State Police Command, ensuring diligent prosecution of the suspects.
