Erstwhile Adamawa ALGON Chairman, Chief Felix Tangwami has picked expression of interest and Nomination forms to contest the Southern Senatorial Seat of the state.
Tangwami who indicated an interest to go for the 2023 Senatorial contest told our correspondent that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has remained a party to beat in the Southern zone.
Felix who is aspiring under the PDP platform is a known party and a political figure haven been a chairman of Demsa Local Government and a campaign Director-General of former Governors said winning is his target in the coming elections.
He reiterated that Adamawa Southern is a strong zone of PDP and as a party grassroots mobilizer he knows the triggers of winning the election in that area.
According to him he just waiting for the right time to pull the triggers and ensure PDP with him as an incoming Senator wins Adamawa state for the party come 2023.
He revealed that he has since set machinery and mechanism in motion to begin a wide consultation across the nine local governments that make up the Southern District.
