The Nigerian Army has made significant progress in its efforts to curb banditry and terrorism in Taraba State. Troops of 6 Brigade and Sector 3 OPWS successfully apprehended three suspected bandits and a key logistics supplier linked to terrorists.
The suspected bandits – Adamu Abubakar, Mohammed Bello, and Musa Adamu – were arrested on October 7, 2024, in the Andamin general area of Karim Lamido LGA, specifically at Jeb-Jeb, a border community between Taraba and Plateau States. They are believed to be responsible for various criminal activities.
A separate operation in Bunka village of Lau LGA led to the arrest of Musa Inusa, a key logistics supplier to terrorists. His capture is expected to disrupt the supply chain and weaken the operational capabilities of the group.

This breakthrough demonstrates the Nigerian Army’s relentless efforts to ensure security and stability in the region. Ongoing investigations aim to apprehend other members of the criminal syndicate and determine the extent of Musa Inusa’s involvement with terrorists.
