Taraba CTC Chairman pledges to tackle insecurity

The newly sworn-in Care Taker Committee (CTC) Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Area of Taraba State, Alh. (Dr.) Aminu Jauro Hassan has pledged to tackle the high rate of insecurity currently experienced across the area without delay.

Hassan, who stated this while fielding questions from newsmen shortly after being sworn-in at Government House, Jalingo explained that he will liaise with critical stakeholders from the Local Government to curb the menace of insecurity in the area.

“I will rally round critical stakeholders in the Local Government which include opinion leaders, Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, Security Agencies, among others, to achieve my objective”, he said.

Aminu Jauro Hassan, who doubles as the immediate past Executive Secretary, Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency (TSPHCDA) also appreciated Governor Darius Ishaku for finding him worthy of the appointment as the CTC Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Area.

“As you are aware, all of us are the products of Governor Darius Ishaku, we were all trained and brought up by His Excellency and I want to assure you that we will abide by the principles and doctrines of Governor Ishaku”,

“We will seriously ensure to sustain the Rescue Mission of His Excellency, Governor Darius Ishaku”, said Hassan.

Our Correspondent reports that Governor Darius Ishaku, after dissolving the immediate past elected Council Chairmen of the 16 LGAs of the State on 3rd July, 2022 after the expiration of their tenure on 2nd July, 2022 appointed CTC Chairmen.

“The newly appointed CTC Chairmen, after being confirmed by the Lawmakers of the State House of Assembly were therefore, officially innaugurated to pilot the affairs of their various Council areas”,

“15 out of 16 CTC Chairmen were present at the occasion”, our Reporter stated.
