The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Progressive Youths wing of Bali Local Government Area, Taraba State, on Monday called on Governor Agbu Kefas to disregard reports circulating against the state Commissioner for Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. James Habu Philip.
The group clarified that the reports were the handiwork of mischief-makers from Bali Local Government, suspected to be sponsored by enemies of Governor Kefas’ administration, as the reports have all been confirmed as fake news.
The Bali PDP Progressive Youths, in an open letter to Governor Kefas, signed by the president, Comrade Uten Dubagari, described the commissioner as a dedicated gentleman who is focused on ensuring that Governor Kefas’ administration achieves greatness.

“Your Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, we, the PDP Progressive Youths of Bali Local Government, wish to counter an open letter by one Nuru Ahijo from Garba Chede, assassinating the character of your Commissioner for Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. James Habu Philip.
“Nuru Ahijo is a political thug who is violent, lawless, and a bully. He is being hired and used by selfish, disgruntled politicians to achieve certain aims in politics, subjecting the people of Bali Local Government to nepotism and neocolonialism.
“Nuru is not a member of the PDP. He is paid to discredit your administration by blackmailing the commissioner to destroy public confidence in your government.
James is a responsible young man that every community would want to have as a representative
“The political thug (Nuru) is paid by selfish politicians to spread false information, campaign negatively, and criticize progressive individuals who are supporting the PDP government to attract development in Bali and Taraba at large. He is being used by some elements who want to claim political dominance over elders and stakeholders who may claim to be members of the PDP but truly are not.
“Hon. Habu James is a responsible young man that every community would want to have as a representative. He is committed, trustworthy, and has never acted contrary to the decisions of elders and stakeholders.
“The commissioner has never been involved in any negative act. We urge you to disregard any such reports and consider them as blackmail against him. He is a mobilizer committed to service delivery.
“As progressive youths, we will always stand by the truth and defend it for the development of Bali Local Government. Hon. Habu has no questionable character whatsoever. He has no time to fight for personal political dominance; his focus is on service delivery for his ministry to create a positive impact for the Bali community,” the progressive PDP youths submitted.
