Tension seems to holds the minds of Adamawa state government workers over a released circular by the state polytechnic of regulating the appointments and transfer of service of it’s staff.

The circular from the office of the register revealed that all civil servant employed from may 15th,2015- May 15th 2019 will be screened.

Checks by tgnews further revealed that the regulation by an order from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri under PDP administration in the state is to have a vendetta approach to the immediate past government of Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindo of APC.

A worker who does not want his name to appear in this report said Bindo employed him in 2018 and has been receiving Salaries not until Fintiri came and distorted his salaries payment.

The worker on a state of anonymity said a fellow close to the government in power told him that the exercise is to remove all those workers perceived to be APC loyalists and replace them with the PDP supporters who played a role in bringing the government into power.

“Anybody that work for PDP will not have a problem,it is just to check his file that’s all.” He said

The regulation on the mandate of Governor Fintiri has been receiving comments by all people.

The APC organising Secretary of the state, Alhaji Ahmed Lawan on his own view said the Fintiri led administration will not see the light of the day as his government is generally seen to be ani people.

According to him the people employed by Governor Bindo are all Adamawa state indigenes and have the right to be so employed. Removing them is tantamount to fighting APC government.

He worried that the Barton of leadership of Fintiri is anti Civil servants who are the pivotal machineries of any existing government and he failed to understand that government is a continues process.

Lawan challenged Ahmadu’s government to concentrate in delivering the mandate of fresh air he promised the people of the state not causing tension and heart break to those he assured of fresh air.

He opined that the Bindo’s regime was focused to continued the work that he Fintiri started, and if he means serious to fight the government of APC led by Bindo he should equally remove the roads constructed by him in the entire state.

“Why is Fintiri witch hunting the civil servants? This are same people that voted him to power and is paying them back with evil. Why?

” Is directly fighting APC government and we are watching with keen interest to see the end of his tenure. ” Lawan said

The screening exercise has been a context of controversy since the day a committee was set up to verified staff of Adamawa polytechnic by Governor Ahmadu.

Barr A T Shehu the PDP state Chairman in many forum said the government of Fintiri is out to regularise the many abnormalities of the past government for the betterment of people in the state.
