Fahat while receiving Union’s documents from Dean, students affairs, Dr Abubakar Ahmed
Comrade Fahat Usman Terrang emerged the new Acting President of the Student Union Government (SUG) of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola.
Fahat was confirmed the new student leader today’s morning amidst cheering supporters and Excos while receiving Union documents from the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr Abubakar Ahmed.
Fahat before his confirmation was the union’s Vice President and will serve the union in an acting capacity until when a new election is conducted.
In a statement signed by him, the new SUG President said the confirmation is another duty that the union found him a trusted and dependable fellow to serve the students and the entire university.
While thanking the entire management of MAU, the Students, and the general public who in one way or the other have given him the encouragement to aspire for a leadership position, he promised to serve with all sense of responsibility and honesty, adding value to the life of all the university students as well the management.
He also assured the Students and the school management of his total commitment to duty based on the constitutional mandate he was being called to serve.
