The reconstitution of the executive management teams across the 12 River Basin Development Authorities marks a significant step towards enhancing the country’s water resources management and promoting sustainable agricultural development.

The Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority’s new executive management team also includes: Alh. Sanusi Mohammed Babantanko as Chairman (Bauchi), Samuel Mahmud Mohammed as Managing Director (Taraba), Hon. Usman Babandubu Bakare as Executive Director, Engineering (Taraba), Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo as Executive Director Finance (Gombe), Hon. Isa Matori as Executive Director, Planning and Design (Bauchi)

The new executive management teams are expected to work closely with stakeholders to achieve the authorities’ mandates, focusing on implementing projects and programs that promote integrated water resources management, improve agricultural productivity, and enhance the livelihoods of the people within their respective catchment areas.

President Tinubu’s approval of the new executive management teams demonstrates his administration’s commitment to revitalizing the country’s water resources sector and promoting sustainable agricultural development.
