The Ganye Traditional Council in Adamawa State has conferred the prestigious traditional title of Gangpesi Ganye on Hon. Aloysius Babadoke, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development and unity of the chiefdom.

The conferment of the title was announced in a letter dated January 27, 2025, signed by Mr. Emmanuel A. Maidoki, Acting Secretary of the Ganye Traditional Council. The letter stated that the title was approved by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON.
