The media last week, was astonishingly agog with the news of an honorary doctorate awarded to a young Business Mogul, a contractor of repute, a humanitarian per exllenence, and a philanthropist of reckoning.
To many cynics, it is the usual highest bidder kind of award, that goes to persons with fat accounts, capable of fitting in the bills and other requirements needed for the occasion.
However, just a peep into the amazing profile, records, and pedigree of Mr. Emmanuel Nachamada Musa would clear such cynicism.
Mr. Emmanuel, who is christened as “the grandmaster of welfare”, has touched the lives of the poor, the destitute, the downtrodden, and the people with special needs in quite diverse ways.
The Chairman EMNAMU GROUP, through one of his offshoots, EMNAMU FOUNDATION has, through its community outreach program ameliorated the hardship of over thirty thousand (30,000) people across the State.
The outreach, which started within his hometown, Kala’a with about a thousand beneficiaries, extended to the entire local government with about three thousand beneficiaries, then Gombi, and now beyond.
On the 5th January 2021, the Foundation launched its sixth (6th) outreach at Lokuwa ward, Mubi North Local government. The first phase of the sixth (6th) outreach is targeted to benefit thirty thousand beneficiaries across the eight (8) local government areas of Madagali, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Hong, Gombi, and Song local respectively.
Items shared include wrappers, men’s yards, buckets, jerry cans, cooking utensils, grinding machines, sewing machines, and cash.
Dr. Emmanuel is no doubt the man who the cap fits.
