The name Burkutu sounds a broad name in the entire southern Kaduna which becomes a household name in the
History of the region,but in recent times because of it’s destructive and elastic satisfaction it has,it is now having so
many different names in each of our local community you visited.
Some call it “Goskolo”, others says ‘BKT”, some say local Gin, while many others just nick named it as “Romon Dawa”, to many others is “Gidan Magajiya”, “Sapele “. Aside all those
names mentioned others still call it “mos” and to some people who are considered to have economy holds they
prefer to call it “Wine or green bottles ”,or to conventionally say “Bear “.
May be if we can have a little of comparatively analysis to our passed and present existence as a cooperate zone, we can deduced to say that the Southern Zaria was once on record to
have the highest General in the state, was on record to have dominated the state’s Civil Service commission, even with the sitting of higher educational institutions in the Northern part of
the state, the southern Kaduna is not Educationally lagging behind. As at one point have so many renown professors in various universities in this countries.
Is only of recent that our northern counterpart fellows have admirably rush their wads to school all in the name of
reclaiming and replacing the southern people. Permit me to equally say that our brothers have no withstanding holds the economy of the state with their mindset of controlling the economy of our lands and most painful, they have succeeded in saying no the all sensitive positions in the state, especially
with the present administration of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai where all keys appointments have been given to Hausa /Fulani.In the administrative points of view one can be convinced to
say a southern kaduna Man is far never to smell the General Hassan Usman again the siting base of the Governor, as in many occasions being agitating by our northern fellow that Yakowa had the first and the last chance of the Southern
fellow to be Governor to them we are to be neglected base on our way of life that is detestable to them.
Our people do complain of dominance of Hausa /Fulani in all our communities, the Hausa have penetrated virtually to the core heart of southern kaduna (Kafachan ) having traditional titles and emirate, owning lands that will never be recovered.
But the questions kept on bugling and poking my heart and the heart of many others are: were our people blind? or are
they sleeping? When this things are negatively going against them?
Today i’m out to say what is needful, pushed by an instinct to call a spade a spade and to quench off the zest feelings on our people.
I discovered the the seven letter word, “BURKUTU” have destroyed great destinies in southern Kaduna, I have that
substance killed our Generals, our Governors are not left behind. Think of the academics (Professor, readers and
Doctor) that evil Burkutu and it’s sisters associates wallowed. Youths of different age, old men of different age, the learned, our wives have all become victims of sweet bitter substance.
That substance I also discovered has a diversionary tendencies of making you not to be conscious of your immediate, it’s makes you feel all is well, it gives you shadow fulfillment and making you feel on top of the world upside
down.
Put this question in form of challenge. Is there any addicted drunkard that amounts to something good?
It’s this substance I call the destroyer of our land, our people are busy drinking this lucor, while Hausa /Fulani Men are busy scheming on how to seize our lands and make us slave. Our
people concentrate on taking the enemy of our destiny (Bear ) while Enemies of our lands are happy to see us taken it to
their advantage. My Fellow country people, who do we blame now? To whom do we complain? They own the Government, the economy is
their hands because of simple attention we give to that substance and it’s succeeded in stealing our best IQ, stole our best part of us which is our sense of reasoning.
This actually call for for sober reflection, a double rethink and a redirection of purpose,we have lost more than enough to this invaders as a result of taken this heneous products, we deliberately sold our to this malauders and shifting blames to our innocent old men and women to behind our misfortune
with their witchcraft spirit, far be from it my friends, let’s go back to the basis and get the basis to will fine tune our lives
and destinies.
I’m in the school of thought that says “Too much of every is bad “, that is to say whatever is in excess it therefore
becomes a problem and a problem is an enemy of progress. If actually is important and necessary you must drink
BURKUTU, take a little of it that can never take you out of the
level of your real self.
I am in a mission, a mission to bring back the glory of my land, we must fight to our enemies camp to bring back what they have taken away from us. Our stolen mandates, our future and destinies, our good image,and all our lands ,our daughters and children. I’m fighting Burkutu and all it’s contemporaries to leave my Brothers and sisters alone.
