In a heartfelt celebration of merit and steadfast service, the Mombol community in Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa State, hosted a civic reception on Saturday to honour Comptroller Haniel Hadison of the Nigeria Customs Service.
The event, chaired by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (2017–2023), Boss Mustapha, CFR, drew community leaders, youths, and dignitaries to celebrate a son of the soil whose three-decade career exemplifies quiet dedication and disciplined achievement.
Delivering his remarks, Mustapha praised Hadison’s remarkable journey, which began with his enlistment in the Nigeria Customs Service in 1994 and has seen him rise to a key role at the Customs Headquarters. “Comptroller Haniel Hadison is not a man who shouts about his achievements,” Mustapha said.

“His record speaks for itself—no drama, no headlines, just consistent effort.” Highlighting Hadison’s pattern of seizing every opportunity to learn, lead, and complete tasks, Mustapha described him as a model of success built through preparation, patience, and persistence.
The former SGF emphasized the significance of the Mombol community’s decision to honour Hadison while he remains active in service.

Addressing Hadison directly, Mustapha encouraged him to mentor the next generation, noting that his greatest legacy may lie in inspiring young Nigerians to believe in the value of hard work.
He also commended the Mombol community for organizing the event, stressing that such gatherings set a standard for honouring excellence and fostering ambition.
