‎In a resounding show of support, Mr. John Hamman, a staunch loyalist and supporter of Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Galadima (a prominent APC governorship aspirant in Adamawa State), has firmly debunked rumours that Galadima would reverse key policies initiated by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

‎Hamman made the declaration during a colourful women’s convention themed “A Call to Serve”, organised by the Galadima Women Support Movement (GWSM) in Yola. The event served as a powerful platform to urge Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Galadima to contest the 2027 governorship election.

‎As Director Coordinator of all Galadima Support Groups, Hamma addressed a massive crowd of women who converged on the Wetland Park and Garden from all 21 local government areas of Adamawa State. He described Tijjani as a “thoroughbred leader” whose primary interest is the welfare of humanity.

‎“The call on Tijjani to serve the people of Adamawa is a clarion call echoing loudly from the mouths of the aged, the youth, critical stakeholders, and elder statesmen,” Hamma declared. “This call is coming from every part of the state because he is a good man with a clean record and has no offence against anyone.”

‎Hamman commended the women for their unwavering commitment to Tijjani’s noble cause, noting that women from all walks of life have recognised in him the true virtues of leadership and are eager for him to take Adamawa to greater heights.

‎“You have surprised us with your tremendous gesture. I assure you that you are on the right track; you are supporting the right man,” he said. “A man without enemies, who has never hurt even a fly. Wherever he has worked, he has left indelible imprints of good leadership. His service has always been for the people and for Nigeria.

‎“I have never seen a more detribalised man than Tijjani. As one of his closest friends, I can tell you without hesitation: he is the ideal person for good governance. Fairness, inclusivity, and justice for all are his watchwords.”

‎Hamman used the occasion to dispel insinuations that Tijjani had abandoned his governorship ambition. “We are widely consulting, and your passionate call for him to serve remains one of the key decisions on the front burner. In due course, and at the appropriate time, we will make our position known to the world and I assure you, it will be positive.”

‎He also addressed rumours suggesting Tijjani might tamper with the current traditional council structure. “We will not interfere with any traditional structures. Traditional leaders are our fathers, and what is on ground today is sacrosanct, a no-go area for anyone, including Tijjani. We will not temper with the current line of Emirs and Chiefs.”

‎The convention was hailed as a strategic meeting of the Galadima Think Tank. The state coordinator of GWSM, Hajiya Mariya Adamu Nyako (Zinariya Mayo Belwa), used the platform to declare an open endorsement of Tijjani as the aspirant of choice for the APC.

‎Hajiya Mariya revealed that the movement has already mobilised over ₦120 million in contributions, with more donations pouring in daily. She expressed confidence that the fund would reach ₦200 million in the shortest possible time.

‎This powerful women-driven movement underscores the growing grassroots momentum behind Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Galadima’s potential bid to lead Adamawa State into a new era of unity, progress, and inclusive development.
