Tinubu Appoints Dr. Aminu as NABTEB Registrar, Mr. Idris as UBEC Chairman

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made key appointments to two crucial educational institutions in Nigeria. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Aminu has been appointed as the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), while Mr. Idris Olorunnimbe will serve as Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Board.

Dr. Aminu brings a wealth of experience to his new role, holding a PhD in Automobile Technology and a Master’s in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. He previously served as Director of Procurement at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

Mr. Olorunnimbe, on the other hand, has a strong background in innovative leadership and youth empowerment. As Group CEO of The Temple Company, he has driven transformative initiatives in education, entertainment, and sports.

These appointments are expected to strengthen the educational sector in Nigeria, with President Tinubu urging the new appointees to leverage their experience to drive transformational leadership

In addition to these appointments, President Tinubu also named Rasaq Olajuwon as UBEC’s Deputy Executive Secretary (Technical) and Tunde Ajibulu as Deputy Executive Secretary (Services).

These appointments are expected to strengthen the educational sector in Nigeria, with President Tinubu urging the new appointees to leverage their experience to drive transformational leadership and promote quality education nationwide.
