The decision follows an exhaustive analysis of Nigeria’s healthcare challenges, underscoring the administration’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its citizens. Designed to be modern and fully equipped, these facilities are poised to set a new standard for primary care delivery nationwide.
Each centre will feature specialized units, including Accident and Emergency, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Gynaecology, Dentistry, Laboratory Services, and dedicated Vaccine Centres, ensuring comprehensive care for all Nigerians, regardless of location.
“This is a bold step toward ensuring that no Nigerian is left behind when it comes to healthcare,” a presidential spokesperson said. “These facilities will not only save lives but also restore trust in our healthcare system by bringing world-class services closer to the people.”
The contract for this transformative project has been awarded to Black Mountains Limited, a Nigerian firm recognized for its expertise in developing cutting-edge primary healthcare centres, particularly in remote and underserved regions.
Following a rigorous evaluation, the company was selected for its proven track record and steadfast commitment to delivering on the President’s vision. As a local content partner, Black Mountains Limited is expected to leverage its experience to meet the high expectations of both the administration and the Nigerian populace.
