Tinubu Hails NLTF Leadership: 'A New Era of Purposeful Governance

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) leadership for its vision and purposeful leadership, particularly under the guidance of Executive Secretary, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju.

At the unveiling of the NLTF’s Strategic Plan for 2024-2028 in Abuja, Tinubu, represented by Senator George Akume, commended the new leadership, expressing trust in their ability to deliver greater results.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, represented by Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, also expressed satisfaction with the NLTF’s activities, noting that the leadership has demonstrated quality leadership worth emulating. He praised Adeyanju’s vision and mission, as evident in the strategic plan.

Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Zephaniah Bitrus Jisalo, assured Nigerians would benefit from the strategic document, prioritizing meaningful interventions.

Redouble efforts to actualize the trust fund’s core mandates

He urged Adeyanju to redouble efforts to actualize the trust fund’s core mandates.

Adeyanju thanked President Tinubu for introducing the Revenue Assurance Platform (RAP), which will help the lottery industry achieve its mandate. He highlighted NLTF’s successful implementation of over 306 projects nationwide since 2005, committing to delivering good causes and worthwhile interventions.

The event was attended by ministers, executive secretaries, director generals, national assembly members, special assistants, and federal commissioners. Senator Victor Umeh praised Adeyanju’s achievements, while Hon. Canice Moore pledged the House of Representatives’ support to the agency.
