Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Sunday, said the inauguration of President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will strengthen him.

Tinubu, who won the February 25, 2023 presidential election, will be sworn in as Commander-in-Chief and 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Monday.

Preparations for the event are in top gear, with security arrangements fully in place.

Foreign heads of states and other dignitaries, including the delegation of US President Joe Biden, have arrived in Abuja for the important occasion.

Obi while responding to a question concerning the inauguration in an ongoing Twitter Spaces, insisted he would not back down in the struggle to secure “his mandate”.

“I didn’t start this journey in a single day; I knew it’s not going to be easy. The inauguration will strengthen me,” he said.

And to his supporters, Obi said, “I plead that you stay focused. This is about transformation which takes time.”
