Adamawa State Takes Giant Leap Towards Economic Growth with Jimeta Ultra-Modern Shopping Complex

In a historic move, the Adamawa State government has officially flagged off the construction of the Jimeta Ultra-Modern Shopping Complex, a landmark project aimed at transforming the state’s economic landscape.

The complex, which is expected to be completed within 18 months at a cost of ₦19,700,382,063.56, will feature high-end retail outlets, food courts, office spaces, recreational areas, and more, making it a vibrant commercial hub that will attract investments, foster economic growth, and create jobs for the youth and people of Adamawa State.

According to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the project is part of the state’s broader vision to modernize its urban and rural landscape, promote sustainable growth, and provide opportunities for its people. The complex will serve as a key driver of economic activity, creating job opportunities in construction, retail, security, management, and hospitality sectors, and providing a platform for small and medium-scale businesses to thrive.

The project has been awarded to three reputable contractors – LUBELL Nig. LTD, Madugu Commercial and Construction Company, and AMIJAPP Nig, Ltd – with Mssr Associated Design Consultants serving as the technical consultant. The state government has called on all stakeholders, including contractors, local government officials, business leaders, and citizens, to work together towards the successful completion of the project.

With the Jimeta Ultra-Modern Shopping Complex, Adamawa State is poised to take a giant leap towards economic growth and development, and the state government is committed to ensuring that the project is completed on time and to the highest standards.
