He called them the Adamawa brave boys, the tale of two families for which he was grateful and ascribed the glory to God for their successful passing out parade (POP) from the Nigerian Navy.

The Vice-Chairman of the Senate standing committee on Navy, Senator Ishaku Abbo has during the 44 POP of the Nigerian Navy congratulated the seven indigenes of Adamawa on their successful training and commissioned as senior officers and ratings respectively.
Abbo who is the Senator representing Adamawa North said he give God all the glory that today through the help of Hon Vrati Nzonzon and Hon Saidu Naiwa that SLT. DN Shadrach from Lamurde LGA. and SLT. N Aliyu from Hong were passed out as commissioned officers.

Ishaku on his official Facebook said, “It was almost at the tail end of the process but with the help of two good men whom I appealed to, the boys were enlisted and are now commissioned officers of the Navy.
“I have never seen worries on the faces of men on behalf of their families as I saw on the faces of Mr. Naiwa and Mr. Vrati. They bombarded me day and night until a move was made and success was Achieved.
“I am nothing but a mere tool in the hands of God. I am just a clay, God is the potter. ” Abbo said
On a get-together meeting While responding on behalf of the officers SLT Shadrack said ” I am here because of you Senator Abbo” and Abbo quickly interjected him and said “ you are here because of God” “ for God does not share his glory with no man”.
“The heroes of these boys are not SIA. It is NAIWA and VRATI – their family.
“As of all those that made it including the younger brother of my PA Ammar Ibrahim. I take no glory. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.” He added
