Tragic Crash on Jada-Mayo Road in Adamawa Kills Five

A devastating road accident this morning along the Jada-Mayo axis has claimed the lives of five people, according to eyewitness accounts and early reports circulating on social media.

The incident involved a black Toyota vehicle with Adamawa registration number YLA 304BE. The car reportedly veered off the highway, plunged into the nearby bush, and was left badly shattered from the violent impact.

The victims, all five occupants of the vehicle, had departed from Yola earlier today. The crash occurred suddenly on this notoriously dangerous stretch of road known for its sharp bends, narrow lanes, and heavy traffic.

The tragic scene was first shared publicly around 1:40 pm today (Saturday, January 10, 2026) on Facebook by user Muhammed M. Muhammed, who posted:
