TRHA CONFIRMS HON. DANJUMA AS COMN

The Taraba state House of Assembly has on Monday finally screened and confirmed Hon. Danjuma Yakubu as Commissioner and member of the state Executive Council.

His confirmation was following his nomination by the Taraba state Governor Darius Ishaku, in a letter sent to the state Assembly for their consideration.

The Speaker, Taraba state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Peter Abel who presided over the seating, after reading and delibration on the letter sent by the Executive thrown a question to the floor members on weither the nominee should be cleared and confirmed, where the majority agreed that he should take a vow and go.

In a remark, the Speaker Peter Diah described Hon. Danjuma Yakubu as a season administrator whome they worked together when the Speaker was the Chairman of Sardauna local government area of Taraba state, while Danjuma was an Accountant.

“Hon. Danjuma Yakubu is ahighly respected season administrator, a very committed person who dedicated his life to the service of humanity. This is the best appointment Governor Ishaku made because he made a right choice, as i tapped alot from Hon. Danjuma’s vast of experiences”.

Meanwhile, Governor Darius Ishaku has shortly after clearing the nominee by the Members of the state Assembly, sworn-in Hon. Danjuma Yakubu alongside seven others that has earlier been screened and confirmed by the House.

The swearing-in took place at the Executive Chambers of Taraba state Government House, Jalingo.

State Chief Judge, Justice Josephine Tuktur administerd the oath of office to the newly appointed Commissioners.
