Tribute to a Leader: Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management Mourns Borno Commissioner, Ahmed Ali

The Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management is saddened by the sudden passing of Hon. Ahmed Ali Ahmed, the Commissioner for Finance in Borno State.

Ahmed, a top-notch fellow of the Institute, died on Monday morning in his room, with details of his death still unclear.

The Institute’s President and Chairman of Council, Dr. Gado Shehu mni, expressed shock and sadness over Ahmed’s demise, describing it as “devastating.”

He prayed for Almighty God to comfort Ahmed’s family and grant his soul eternal rest

Ahmed had recently served as the Special Guest of Honour at the Institute’s 72nd MCPD Programme, held on August 17, 2024, at the University of Maiduguri.

His contributions and presence will be deeply missed.
