Truth Always Rises: CIFCFIN Boss Charges Forensic Experts to Uphold Truth, Integrity in Easter Message

The Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN) has extended warm Easter greetings to its members and the broader forensic community, emphasizing the sacred role of truth, integrity, and justice in nation-building.

In a heartfelt message released on Easter Sunday, Dr. Iliyasu B. Gashinbaki, Founder and Chairman of the Governing Council of CIFCFIN, described the forensic profession as more than a scientific discipline—it as a “sacred responsibility” in a country where the demand for integrity and justice continues to grow daily.

“Every analysis you conduct, every document you scrutinize, and every piece of evidence you examine contributes to building a system where fairness prevails over bias and truth overcomes deception,” Dr. Gashinbaki stated.

The Chairman drew powerful parallels between the Easter season’s themes of renewal, sacrifice, hope, and the triumph of truth, urging forensic professionals to renew their strength and deepen their commitment to excellence and objectivity.

“Even in the darkest moments, truth will always rise,” he declared. “Let this season renew your strength, deepen your sense of purpose and reinforce your unwavering commitment to excellence and integrity. May nothing compromise your objectivity and may your dedication to evidence-based truth remain unshaken.”

Dr. Gashinbaki concluded by invoking the spirit of Easter to inspire and guide all forensic practitioners in their critical work.

The message comes at a time when forensic science and fraud investigation are playing increasingly vital roles in Nigeria’s justice system, anti-corruption efforts, and efforts to strengthen public institutions.

CIFCFIN, established by an Act of the National Assembly in 2022, continues to champion professional standards, training, and ethical practice among forensic experts and certified fraud investigators across the country.

Warm Easter wishes were also extended to all Nigerians, with a special call on professionals to remain custodians of truth in service to the nation.
