TRUTH REVEALED: Shalom Dangi Kassa’s Election Victory Upheld

The Local Government election petition tribunal in Adamawa State has delivered its verdict, dismissing the petition filed by Labour party candidate, Mr. Gamaliel, against the elected Chairman of Guyuk Local Government, Mr. Shalom Dangi Kassa. The tribunal concluded that the petitioners failed to provide sufficient evidence to support their claims of certificate forgery.

Mr. Kassa’s impressive track record in serving Gongola, and later Adamawa State, before retiring without any blemishes, played a significant role in his re-election. His people-oriented projects and programs during his first tenure positively impacted the local community, earning him another term as Chairman under the People’s Democratic party.

The petition, largely seen as a distraction, aimed to discredit Mr. Kassa’s victory by alleging certificate forgery. However, the tribunal’s decision reaffirms the people’s trust in Mr. Kassa’s leadership and commitment to transforming Guyuk Local Government.
