Two men, identified as Emmanuel Oyedele and Temitope Adebayo, were arraigned in a Lagos Magistrates’ Court yesterday for allegedly stealing car cylinders.
According to the prosecution, the defendants committed the offense on November 20, 2024, at about 2:00 am in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.
The charge sheet read: “That you, Emmanuel Oyedele and Temitope Adebayo, on November 20, 2024, at about 2:00 am, at Ikorodu, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire to commit felony, to wit: stealing, and thereby committed an offense punishable under Section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.”
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Magistrate, Mrs. O. M. Ajayi, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N100,000 each, with two sureties each in like sum.
The case was adjourned until January 10, 2025, for mention.
