Two officials of Adamawa All Progressives Congress (APC) have tendered their resignation to the party’s acting Chairman, Elder Samaila Tadawus ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The officials are Hajiya Hauwa Koma, State Women leader from Jada Local Government area council, and Alhaji Ahmed Bako Gamu, Vice Chairman (Southern zone) from Ganye Local Government area council all from Southern senatorial District.

Bako however said is resigning for personal reasons based known to him and is willing to work and cooperate with the Adamawa APC and will campaign for the success of the party in the coming 2023 elections.
While appreciating the Ganye APC stakeholders and the state party’s officials for their support to work for the party, Alhaji Bako maintains to have sustained loyalty to the party.
For Hauwa, the resigned women leader in a formal letter of her resignation to the state acting chairman, Elder Samaila Tadawus said she hers an unrelenting loyalty to the party that made her who she is in the political space of Adamawa APC.
She vowed to work for the party in total in the coming electioneering year as her resignation remains personal and reason-based known to her.
Checks by TG News revealed that since the removal of Ibrahim Bilal the party in the state is dangling around the vested interest of some senior stakeholders to remove disloyal party leader who were loyal to Bilal
Other sources who speak in confidence to our correspondent revealed that the peaceful protest organized by Binani’s supporter calling for the party to maintain her as the candidate is what led to the recent development.
