In its quest at building role models for Nigerian youth in the private and public sector, the Institute of Leadership Assessment and Development of Nigeria (ILAD), will be holding its annual conference and conferment of Doctoral Fellow/Fellow of ILAD in Kaduna on March 16, 2024.
This was contained in a statement signed by ILAD’s Director General, Dr. Baba R. Adamu, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Sunday February 25, 2024.
According to the statement, the theme of the Kaduna Conference 2024, “Empowering Excellence: Vision and Impact in Leadership” emphasizes cultivating a visionary mindset among leaders, enabling them to inspire and guide their teams towards achieving excellence.
“This theme underscores the importance of strategic vision, effective communication, and the positive impact leaders can have on individuals and organizations by fostering a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement.” He said.
The Director General informed that the Chief Host of the event billed for Kaduna State University (KASU) Auditorium on March 16, 2024 by 10am, is the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani.
The statement informed that the Keynote address would be delivered by the Chief of Defence Staff and President the Chiefs of Defence Staff West Africa, General Christopher G. Musa, while speakers include, Managing Director, Time-line Consult Ltd, Lagos, Dr. Shuaibu Abubakar Idris (Mikati), Vice President Institute of Leadership Assessment and Development of Nigeria, Professor Silas Lenos Lamela and Former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd).
Also expected to be present at the event, is President Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, who would be one of the recipients of the prestigious Doctoral Fellow of ILAD.
” Commandant Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA), Maj Gen J.O. Ochai, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, National Assembly, Alh Bashir idris (Lifidin Jama”a) and
Registrar/CEO Nigeria community Health practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria are also expected to attend,” he added.
He explained that the institute, is globally recognized and is a
professional body in Nigeria.

“The institute was formed by a team of corporate practitioners, professionals, academics, policy makers, with background in
corporate governance, finance, banking. insurance, law,

of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to among other things, promote global best corporate governance
