Uba Sani Vows 500,000-Vote Landslide as APC Names Him Ekiti Campaign Council Chairman

Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has expressed gratitude and commitment following his appointment as Chairman of the National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Ekiti State Governorship Election.

The appointment was officially announced during the inauguration of the campaign council by the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Senator Sani described the appointment as a great honour and pledged to work closely with council members, party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters across Ekiti State to ensure a successful campaign for Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

He expressed confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s chances of securing re-election, citing what he described as the governor’s strong performance in office, widespread acceptance, and support from political leaders and stakeholders across the state.

According to the Kaduna governor, the APC is aiming for a decisive victory in the election, with a target of securing a margin of more than 500,000 votes.

Senator Sani noted that the party has already established strong grassroots structures across Ekiti State’s 16 local government areas and 177 wards. He added that the active involvement of youths, women, and other critical stakeholders would play a key role in mobilizing support and consolidating the achievements recorded under the APC administration in the state.

The governor also commended Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to national development. He thanked the President and the APC leadership for the confidence reposed in him and assured party members of his dedication to delivering a successful campaign.

Senator Sani reiterated that the campaign council would work tirelessly to secure a strong mandate for Governor Oyebanji while advancing the APC’s development agenda in Ekiti State and across Nigeria.
