A political commentator, Ben SD Kure, has described Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, as a dominant force in the state’s political landscape, asserting that his leadership and growing influence are redefining political dynamics ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a statement titled “Uba Sani: The Political Thunderbolt,” Kure portrayed the governor as a strategic and resilient leader whose governance style has earned him widespread support across Kaduna State.
According to Kure, Governor Sani’s rise in politics has been marked by consistency, grassroots engagement, and a leadership approach that combines consultation, decisiveness, and a clear developmental vision.
He argued that since assuming office, the governor has focused on policies aimed at promoting inclusivity, peacebuilding, and sustainable development, while steadily strengthening political alliances and consolidating support across different segments of society.
Kure maintained that as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the next electoral cycle, Governor Sani has continued to distinguish himself through governance and service delivery rather than political rhetoric.
The commentator noted that the governor’s influence extends beyond traditional political structures, describing him as a leader whose appeal cuts across political and social divides.
To supporters, Kure said, Governor Sani represents continuity, stability, and progress, while critics acknowledge his growing political strength and relevance in Kaduna’s evolving political environment.
He further suggested that the governor’s trajectory has positioned him as a key figure in discussions surrounding the future of Kaduna State politics, with many observers viewing him as a major force heading into 2027.
Kure likened Sani’s impact on the state’s political scene to a thunderbolt, saying his leadership continues to command attention and shape political outcomes.
“As the political atmosphere builds toward 2027, Governor Uba Sani remains at the centre of Kaduna’s unfolding political story,” Kure stated, expressing confidence that the governor’s influence will continue to play a significant role in determining the state’s political direction.
