In yet another recognition of Governor Uba Sani’s bold digital reforms, the Kaduna State Development and Property Company (KSDPC) has been named winner of the 2025 Nigeria GovTech Public Service Award in the category of “Best State Agency in the Innovative Use of Technology.” The award will be officially bestowed on Kaduna State this Thursday at a ceremony organized by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) in Abuja.
The Nigeria GovTech Public Service Awards honour public institutions that leverage technology to promote transparency, accountability, and efficient service delivery across the country. KSDPC’s emergence as the top state agency in this year’s edition is a clear endorsement of Governor Uba Sani’s upward digital governance trajectory and his administration’s push for smarter, more inclusive, and transparent governance.
The recognition stems from KSDPC’s strategic and result-oriented adoption of digital tools that have transformed its operations, projects, and stakeholder engagements. Through innovations such as its E-Services Portal, the company has made it possible for clients to submit applications, lodge complaints, and interact with staff remotely from the convenience of their devices. Its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system has enhanced internal efficiency, minimized downtime, and optimized output, while a smart property management platform has revolutionized project monitoring and data management.
These technology-driven initiatives have boosted transparency, accountability, and responsiveness, in perfect alignment with Governor Uba Sani’s broader vision for a digitized and service-oriented Kaduna State.
The honour also reflects Kaduna’s growing leadership role in e-governance, open data, and tech-enabled investment facilitation, setting a national benchmark for digital transformation at the subnational level.
As the State’s lead agency for property development, housing, and urban renewal, KSDPC continues to demonstrate how technology can drive development, attract investors, and improve service delivery.
Instituted by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, the Nigeria GovTech Public Service Awards celebrate innovation and excellence in the public sector. KSDPC’s forthcoming recognition as the Best State MDA in Innovative Use of Technology further reinforces its standing as a model of integrity, impact, and innovation within Nigeria’s public service ecosystem.
