Chief Press Secretary to Governor Darius Ishaku, Hassan Mijinyawa has been released by his abductors after spending four days in captivity.
Senior Special assistant to the governor on Media and Publicity, Bala Dan Abu confirmed this to newsmen via telephone in Jalingo.
He said the CPS was released in the early hours of Sunday and has been reunited with his family.
He revealed that the CPS freedom was unconditional, as no ransome was paid to secure his release.
Also via telephone interview with his Sister in-law Hajiya Rabi Baban told Radio Nigeria Correspondent that, Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa reunited with his family at around 2am on Sunday in a good condition.
