The U.S. Mission in Nigeria has expressed deep distress over the shocking and senseless killing of Reverend Father Sylvester Okechukwu in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

In a strongly worded statement released today, the Mission condemned the horrific act of violence that claimed the life of the beloved priest, calling it an affront to peace and humanity.
