The Vice Chancellor of Baze University Abuja,Professor Mamman Tahir has submitted his Nomination and expression of interest forms to contest the senatorial seat of Adamawa north under the All Progressives Congress (APC) ruling party.
Tahir who was accompanied along side many admirers and supporters at the national office in Abuja said his dream of serving the masses is becoming a reality.
The former Director General of Law school Abuja said he has the backing of the electorates to run for the red chambers slot meant for the people of the district.
Mamman a professor of Law and a Senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Said making laws for national benefit require somebody that’s having vast knowledge in knowing the constitution of Nigeria.
“Having been a practicing lawyer before venturing into academic circle has equipped me to know the requisite laws that will suit our country.
” There is so much defects in the constitution of our country and is only an experiencing lawyer will bring out laws that fit in to guide us well in this country.” He Said
The university Don boast that if the people of Adamawa northern zone will give him the mandate he will do what it has never been done since the creation of the district
