My attention has been drawn to a feeble defense of constitutional abberation in Fofure LGA by Governor Ahmadu Fintiris’ Chief of Staff Mr. Edgar Amos who chose to attack the personality of Senator Ishaku Abbo ( SIA) instead of being a responsible and responsive government official by addressing the reasons behind the flagrant constitutional breach in Fofure LGA where the chairman of the Council died on 23rd April 2025 but the Government of Ahmadu Fintiri refused to swear-in the Vice chairman into office despite appeals by everyone including the wife of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu as report suggests.
Ordinarily, Edgar Amos does not merit my response because he reduced himself to Fintiris data boy through their usual deflection of attention on the main sensitive issue at hand by resorting to personality attacks on SIA and his supporters using unprintable words as Yahoo and morally bankrupt characters and frustrated people by the writer: Edgar Amos.
Let me start with a rhetorical question, does the over flamboyant Senator Ishaku Abbo (SIA) and his ever vibrant supporters which have become a movement look like frustrated people? and talking of Morality, on which Moral Compass will you put a Prominent Governor from one of the North eastern states in Nigeria who frequent Night clubs wearing fez caps to dance with girls young enough to be his grandchildren? On what moral rectitude will you place a prominent governor in one of the northeastern states who is alledgedly known for his heavy use of Indian hemp popularly called Dan Wiwi?
Coming back home, how morally upright is your boss the governor who is currently standing trials by EFCC for alledgedly stealing government money to the tune of over N2.9B in just three months as Acting Governor of Adamawa state?
What you failed to agree is that SIA is an institution whose eyes and ears are everywhere, SIA sees and knows what happens day and night in your cicle.
His refusal to attack your inept government is not out of weakness or fear but out of respect for the opposition. SIA can attack your personalities with both visual and documentary evidence but chose to remained silent for now.
Respect yourselves because, henceforth, any personality attack on SIA will no longer go unreplied, albeit disproportionately. I bet you and your pay master will not enjoy the showmax Promax.
Adamawa state is known for her beautiful colors of religion and tribes which SIA calls: Strenght in diversity, our beautiful rainbow. Therefore, your attempt to paint SIA as a religious bigot is an attempt in futility as the entire Adamawa calls him Mai Musulmi da Krista.
Therefore if there are ethno – eligious Yahoos in Adamawa state, it is your government that got to power through division and maintained power by divisions and propaganda.
Your government refusal to respond to calls by citizens to respect the constitution in Fofure LGA which we believe is fueled by greed due to the hefty money given to Fofure LGA by the federal government through monthly FAAC under an abused LGA system by your government chose to hide behind religion and gender to exploit the gullibility of the Nigerian masses while your eyes are on the money of Fofure LGA.
Your invention and invocation of religious Yahoo Yahoo is, therefore, an attempt to deflect attention from your government’ impeachable offense while you sadly play the role of Judas Iscariot who betrayed all that he followed and believed in for money. It is indeed a clear display of the spirit of Esua, who sold his birthday for a plate of pepper soup. It is needless to say that you reminded us also of Sambalat and Tobias, the two traitors INSIDERS who opposed Nehemiah in his rebuilding of the destroyed walls of Jerusalem.
By your confession, that Hon. Peace Audu has been acting for over two weeks has confirmed to all Nigerians how reckless your government is.
Let me spell it out to you Sir, our constitution does not have room for ACTING CHAIRMAN, OR ACTING GOVERNOR OR ACTING PRESIDENT AFTER DEATH OR RESIGNATION.
ACTING FOR WHO?
