Viral “Resignation Letters” Exposed as Fake: APC Adamawa Declares Authors Already Expelled or Under Probe

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Adamawa State Chapter has rubbished widely circulating “resignation letters” from Saidu Naira, Mark Dauda, Ndikashe Mariko, Bukar Audu and Ibrahim Rabiu, describing them as fraudulent documents concocted by individuals who are no longer members of the party.

In a press statement issued from the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu House, Jimeta/Yola, the party said it was laughable that the so-called resignation letters surfaced on social media even before any copy was formally submitted to the state secretariat.

State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi, stated that all the named persons had long ceased to be members in good standing: some were suspended and later expelled for gross anti-party activities, embarrassing the party leadership and dragging the party to court without exhausting internal mechanisms, while one is currently facing a disciplinary committee over fresh allegations of anti-party conduct.

The party described the viral letters as a desperate and mischievous attempt by already sanctioned individuals to create confusion and attract cheap publicity.

“The APC in Adamawa remains solidly united, peaceful and focused on delivering the dividends of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the statement stressed.

Members and the general public were urged to completely disregard the fake letters and treat their authors as outsiders who no longer have any stake in the party.
