In Adamawa State, the All Progressives Congress, APC, enclaves of Numan Federation has a Man, a Lion whose prowess and claws is for the total emancipation of people and the party.
Honourable Vrati S Nzonzou is no doubt a luminary and political fierce dogged fighter of APC in Adamawa State whose records to keep the party flying despite in opposition is worth the story telling.
Vrati’s zeal to keep APC a party for the people of Adamawa, especially the Southern zone with a tensed focus on Numan federation has turned him a politician with the enigma of surviving political turbulence with great success story.
Nzonzou a former chairman of Lamurde Local Government was said to have institutionalized APC in the area that initially thought the Party is only for Muslims, down to size and dishonored Christians.
But zealous Nzonzou until he left the Council office in 2018 he became a force to reckoned with as a critical stakeholder of the party in the state. His hard work in financing APC in Lamurde and of course the entire Numan federation was an instinct party system of the party he has to work for the general good of the masses in Adamawa state.
The perception of many people on this young promising politicians that many are proud of, is how he survived the many turbulence emanated from the intra party affairs, with political enemies outside his party pounding and pouncing on him in an effort to make him a political nonentity, it was not possible because he has a mandate of people to serve them anywhere he goes .
The impossibility of silencing Vrati an opinion writer, Pwamaddi Lawrence once called him “a nine lives cat of APC” whose political dead can only come when the dead of his enemies were first announced.
Pwamaddi said Nzonzou is a mover, a political shacker of Adamawa with many changing colors of political identity.
The match pass of Vrati receiving accolades salutes from the people of Adamawa in recent time is suggestive to say that the Young man is growing, from been a Council Chairman he could retire to silence, went ahead and created a good dream to challenge the incumbency of Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, the State Party Chairman.
The battle was fiercer than it was all perceived and perched, Vrati gave a good fight, he slugged it well. Only consensus and many party stakeholders agreed decision on the Bilal continuity may have a way of stabilizing the party, that saved Bilal from the show of blows Vrati gave during the fight.
The APC cat Man is still living, basking and kicking, scheming his way again. He took the nomination and expression of interest forms to contest the Numan, Lamurde and Demsa Federal Constituency seat in the national assembly, warming up to represent the area as their lawmaker.
Nzonzou aspiration has garnered support from elites in the three local government areas, the Youths and Women were said to have endorsed him the very day he submitted his filled forms.
Charting out his political map and finding the paths to lead him to a haven of emancipation and render a selfless service to the people of Numan federation, egalitarian Vrati is fighting another just course to live. The cat man with nine life has embarked yet in another journey with a prospect to live for his people, especially the have-not, the rejected and those subjected down because of poor representation.
This time around the Vrati aspiration should be a collective aspiration for all and sundry, the delegates and none delegates. Men and Women, the Youth and all leaders of thoughts with a genuine heart praying for a good leader.
