The All Progressives Congress (APC) secretary of Adamawa state chapter of the party, Hon Wafari Theman has been appointed as the acting state coordinator of the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) special project.
The National President of the Association, Aminu Mohammed Goronyo who signed Theman’s appointment letter said is expected of him to coordinate the activities of the association under the special project.
The letter indicated that wafari is to carry out the work of enrolling farmers to actively participate in the 2020 dry season farming and to ensure proper documentation of all participating farmers.
His appointment revealed that state structure will now be supervised and coordinated by Wafari and is advised to take advantage of the special project for the interest of Adamawa farmers.
The Theman is also to ensure inputs received are well accounted for, and ensure loan recovery through paddy recollection.
Aminu while congratulating Theman said he will make regular reports of all the activities to the national headquarters.
