In a compassionate gesture during the Easter season, the Director General of the West African Gas Pipeline Authority (WAGPA), Barr Chafari Hanawa Kanya has extended financial relief to the displaced residents of Kwapre, now residing in Hong and Gombi areas of Adamawa State, following devastating insurgent attacks.

A cash support was presented on her behalf by Hyelchari Hanawa to alleviate the hardships faced by the affected families. The timely support comes just days after the attacks disrupted the lives of many in the Kwapre community, forcing them to seek refuge in neighboring regions.

The beneficiaries, visibly moved by the gesture, expressed their profound gratitude. Joel Kulama, the village head of Kwapre, delivered a formal response, praising Barr Chafari for her thoughtful intervention.
