WAR AGAINST INSURGENTS:AIRFORCE ACQUIRE SOPHISTICATED SURVEILLANCE CAMERA, JETS

As the war against insurgents in the North East enters its last lap, the Nigerian Airforce has acquired fleer camera 3808P one of the most expensive surveillance camera for increased intelligence gathering in the fight.

 The Chief of Air Staff,Air Marshal  Abubakar Sadique, who disclosed this in Yola,while briefing Federal Government delegation that, led members of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) on a fact finding mission about efforts made  so far in the rescue  of Chibok school girls abducted by  the insurgents.

 Abubakar who was briefing the team on the fight so far stated that the Nigerian Air Force,has deployed four additional  Alfa Jets  for intelligence and  information  gathering to counter the insurgents.

 
The chief of Air staff ,told the BBOG group that rescuing Chibok girls is at the heart of every Nigerian, especially the Airforce.

 He noted that his men are very cautious while carryout Ariel, bombardment in areas ravaged by insurgency in order not to kill innocent citizens especially fleeing women and children from terrorist.

 He expressed that Sambisa forest has 60,000 square kilometers,18 times the size of Lagos state surface area, therefore adequate intelligence reports is needed before any mission  attack.

 “We are doing everything possible to ensure Chibok school,girls,and every other abductees is rescued”, he stressed.

 Abubakar has lauded the good working synergy between the security agencies involved in the fight against Boko Haram which he said is yielding positive results.

 He said all entitlement of his personnels,who lost their lives in the fight against insurgency has fully been settled.

 Minister of Defence Mansur liman has lauded the effort of president Mohammed Buhari for his undaunted support in fighting the insurgency.

 He said the sum of N100 million Dollars released by this administration has gone a long way in provision of logistics and equipment to fight the war.

 He further explained that adequate insurance cover has been put in place to cater for the family of fallen heroes who,lost,their lives in the cause of protecting their country.

 Minister of,Information and culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed,said capturing Sambisa is a huge success in the fight, adding that the end game of the fight against insurgency is success,as being witnessed by the gallant  efforts of our military.

 Commissioner for Information and Strategy for Adamawa state Mallam Ahmad Sajoh said government earmarked 12 Per cent of 2017 budget to wealth creation and poverty alleviation in the state,to engaged the teeming unemployment youths in the state.
