Northern Elders Forum, on Monday, called on Igbo leaders to prevail on the secessionists in the South East to sheathe their sword in order not to instigate another war in the country.
The Northern Elders stated this while briefing newsmen at end of their closed-door meeting in Abuja.
NEF spokesman, Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, said the Northern leaders have resolved not to allow any war in the country.
He, however, stated that the silence of Igbo leaders is no longer golden given the alleged frequent killing of Northerners in Igboland.
